Welcome to COGS launched on the 26th May 2011

COGS is a procurement information HUB providing the private, public and voluntary sector a central point for sharing procurement best practice in the county.

COGS whilst developed by Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin Business Boards is clearly driven by its partners. Shropshire Chamber, HEFF, METNET, Alpha, Shropshire Council and Telford and Wrekin representatives currently drive COGS objectives through round table discussions Chaired by Ann Johnson of the FSB Shropshire.

Ownership: Whilst it is important that COGS is driven by a core team the ownership of COGS must be with the wider business community and driven by the needs of the private, voluntary and public sector. Involvement can either be through working directly with the core team, signing up to the charter or having a voice at COGS lead events.
